April Young Fritz -- SCBWI Conference, October 2003
Below is Kelly DiPucchio and another writer, watching April's presentation.
Kelly was coordinating the conference and I joined SCBWI just days before
the conference, and knew nobody except Kelly. And I only knew her
because her name was on the registration form. So I drew her.
Just a couple years later, she is a famous author too (and myfriend).
